How Joe & Lauretta Hajik Got Here
Joe is a native Floridian and Lauretta was originally born in New Hampshire but came to Florida as a small child. We have a wealth of knowledge of the entire state.
Joe and Lauretta Hajik moved to Citrus in the early 80's with their 4 children. They were out for a drive one day when they discovered Citrus County. The Hajiks like many others were enchanted with the landscape from postcard-perfect rivers and the Gulf of Mexico teeming with fish to the charm of rolling hills in the heart of the county.

This enchanting beauty combined with the vast recreational opportunities, low congestion, virtually no crime, great schools and affordable real estate prices sealed the deal for them. We call it God's country.
Soon Lauretta and Joe Hajik decided to move out of the urban sprawl and congestion of St. Petersburg to enjoy the peaceful lifestyle of Citrus County
Before construction on their Citrus County home was complete, Joe and Lauretta spent weekends camping with their four children on their Lecanto property. At night, they sat outdoors and stared up at an unfamiliar sight - the stars.

Joe reflected, "We were just in awe of it all because you never got to see them in the city."
That was more than 20 years ago. Now their stars are their grown children including one son, who is a career Air Force Sergeant and the new friends they make every day in the fulfillment of their life's work.
The Hajiks devote themselves to making sure their customers find that special place to call their own, whether it's a home on a golf course, on the water-- or on a hill close to the stars.

Lauretta has over 19 yrs. of experience working with builders, developers and general Real Estate in Citrus County. Joe has over 30 yrs experience in the fields of professional marketing, purchasing and contracts administration. | About Our Son - TSGT JOSEPH T. HAJIK II
Our son, Joseph is a career Air Force member since 1986. Initially he was in a 12 year combat engineering group titled "RED HORSE". Stationed at Hurlburt Field in Florida and Osan Airbase Korea, where he traveled the globe in support of many operations; Europe, Middle East, West/East, South Africa, and Balkans among other.
RED HORSE (the equivalent to the Navy's Seabees) operates in any condition, time, and place, especially designed for engineering tasks under austere and hostile conditions.

One of Joe's career highlights was being the only one selected from his career field of 6000 personnel to be a member of the Air Force elite security units called THE 86TH Contingency Response Group UNITED STAES AIR FORCE IN EUROPE "USAFE" based at Ramstein AB Germany.
The unit, the first of its kind in the USAF As well as sister services was responsible for force protection tasking from the Horn of Africa to the tip of Iceland. 24/7 365 days, on call, no notice deployments.
He has had extensive combat training, which includes earning his Air Borne Wings from the Army's Fort Benning. He has experienced combat conditions in Somalia and Kosivo. He has served ON 2 separate Raven Missions for the United States Marshals as they extradited terrorists from African countries back to the United States for prosecution. Joe is currently stationed at Langley AFB, Virginia.
His wife Nikii is also in the USAF at Langley AFB where she is a 1st lieutenant (air combat command) in the contraction career field. Joe and Nikii met while he was stationed with Red Horse back in 1987.
We are so very proud of our humble son who feels he is just doing his job for our country. Since early on he has always wanted to be in the military to serve his country.
